I will own one. I don’t care if they aren’t the enthusiasts choice, they are beautiful, well put together, and reliable. I think one will make a great used daily driver in a few years.

I think they look best in black or white. Red doesnt do the front any favours.
or a deep blue. that worked BRILLIANTLY

Rather than a flat-looking red like this, I think it would benefit from a deeper shade of red, in either metallic or even pearlescent. Closer to a red wine type of shade, if you know what I mean.

Have you seen one in person, a red one? I hate red cars, especially metallic red, but this just works. Plus, I like the predator grill(except on the LX and GX), it’s exciting.

I used to work for Lexus and we sold literally NONE in that color. As far as being a car for enthusiasts however, I really think it’s a competitor. If I was going to buy vs lease, I would definitely buy the IS. Lexus reliability, great power, and frankly handles just as good and is just as fast as the BMW 3. One downside: Good luck finding a rwd IS if you live in the northeast. Dealers literally have none.

I live in the Southeast, so that last part shouldn’t be a problem. I just hope the aftermarket improves for them, and tuners figure out how to break in to Toyota’s ECUs. But that will be a few years from now, so I’ve got time.
